Be ready to explain why you are on campus. Wear an LSU shirt and your team's cap and yell as often and as loud as possible "Go Tigers!" and you will be provided plenty to eat and drink. Shots for talking sh*t about Florida once you are invited into a tailgate. We start early, so remember its a marathon not a sprint. Oh, and avoid the invitation to try anything too crazy as it doesn't always end well.

Hawks. Thanks everyone for the tips here. Assuming tailgating is a go it sounds like earlier the better.

This may not be an option, but staying somewhere in BR might be more comfortable than trying to get back to Nola, but if its an early game it might not be too bad. But people start tailgating at like 7am for night games, so if its an early game you definitely want to get to campus as early as possible.

Half of you wear gator gear and the other half wear bama. You will be welcomed warmly by all LSU tailgating fans!
