I wish I could go to that UF game but I have to work.

Going to the AUB game instead.

What type of weapons will Trask have around him this year?

They won't be anywhere as talented as the elite weapons Myles Brennan will have around him this upcoming season. Not to mention as well that LSU has a far superior offensive scheme relative to Florida's offensive scheme.

I'm guessing that we will win the game in Florida because of that talent differential between LSU and Florida on offense and also because I think the new defense, with Bo Pelini at the helm calling the plays and Pelini's new far more aggressive 4-3 defensive scheme, we will be significantly improved on defense this upcoming season.

In last season's game at home, Dave Aranda's 3-4 defense played atrociously.

Does anyone know how many starters FL has returning.

Well, let's see, Florida lost their best running back, their two best wide receivers, their best linebacker, their best cornerback, and their two best pass rushers. So go from there.

Texas fans REALLY think it’s their season and think they will come to Baton Rouge and win

Last year Texas fans insisted Texas was going to win because Texas beat a very uninspired UGA team in the Sugar Bowl and so that meant to them that the SEC was shite and even though they had lost the majority of their players on that Sugar Bowl team to graduation. Indeed, Texas fans are so damn ridiculous.

People that don't understand odds shouldn't post them. No way LSU is a 6.5 pt dog to Texas.

Lol...homerism at its finest. Lsu will have lost most of its oline and qb. We dont even know the scheme we are running yet.

Uhm...you believe that Florida will have a better wide receiver room, a better running back room, and a better tight end room than LSU?

Not to mention, that Florida's offensive line was atrocious last season. Which is why their offense was only one-dimensional last season and no one is expecting their offensive line to improve dramatically in 2020.

LSU's will have some new offensive linemen, but both Ed O and John Robinson say Dare Rosenthal is a future first or second-rounder at left tackle. Ed Ingram is super talented and super experienced at right guard. I've also heard that Chasen Hines, who is bigger and stronger than his predecessor, and also very smart, at the same time, will be a beast at center, and that Anthony Bradford will be a man amongst boys at right guard. As that dude came to LSU already cock strong. Meanwhile, Austin Deculus was very solid last season at right tackle.

Hence, I'm going to stick my neck out and say the offensive line will be at least as good as it was last season. As unlike you, I have a ton of faith in James Cregg.

Meanwhile, unlike you, I'm not worried about Myles Brennan's arm and ability to read defenses cause I heard Joe Burrow say himself that Myles Brennan had tremendously improved his skills at reading defenses.

Furthermore, if you kept up with the team, you would also know already that the offense is not changing in 2020. As LSU is going to run the same exact offensive scheme LSU did in 2019. Not to mention that so far no one has been able to stop it yet.

In addition, Ed O says that Bo Pelini's new 4-3 defensive scheme with Bo Pelini calling the defensive plays will be significantly better in 2020 relative to 2019.

Meanwhile, Florida has to replace their best running back, their two best wide receivers, their best linebacker, their two best pass rushers, and their best cornerback from last season.

Call it being a homer if you want, but unlike you do, I don't think Florida will have a chance against LSU when this game is played in Gainesville, Florida during the 2020 season.

Florida doesn’t scare me one bit.

Alabama and Ole Miss do though

So you are the type of person that believes preseason hype puff pieces...but just for your team? You dont think florida’s media and coaches are saying the same things about their guys?

re: Vegas Heisman and game point spreads out
Actually, I already knew Dare Rosenthal would be an excellent left tackle cause I watched him play last season. I know Ed Ingram is going to be a stud at left guard cause he has been a stud ever since he arrived at LSU.

Not to mention, I also thought Chasen Hines would make an excellent center, cause he played guard his freshman season pretty damn good till he tore his ACL. In addition, he also apprenticed under Cushenberry for most of the season last season. Also, I was told by a couple of insiders that watched the three spring practices that he was a beast at center. They also told me the same thing about Anthony Bradford at right guard as well. Not to mention, that I knew since even before he committed to LSU, that the dude is a super strong individual. Finally, I know all about Austin Deculus cause I have been watching him play and steadily improve since his freshman season.

Moreover, I have a ton of confidence in James Cregg cause I think he is one of the best offensive line coaches in America.

So sorry, no puff pieces for me. Cause none are needed. As it's all quite obvious.

Meanwhile, how could I not know about how good the wide receiver room, the running back room, and the tight end room will all inevitably be?

And after watching Myles Brennan's 2019 highlights and also after I heard Joe Burrow and the coaching staff talk about how much Myles Brennan has improved, I have a lot of confidence that he will be a very solid QB. Not a Joe Burrow, by any means, but a very solid QB, nonetheless, which is all we really need.

Link????

My sports book shows AL a 2 1/2 point favorite. LSU is the #2 favorite to win the SEC behind AL at 3 to 1. They are the #5 team in the CFP for the NC at 10-1.

I’ve see lines anywhere from LSU -3 to Bama -3.
Depends on the book

Moscona’s book has LSU -1
