I know that bulletin board material and the motivation that comes from it is sometimes exaggerated, but I still hope our players see this....

We have a want to be successful..All the smart students at Vandy are still trying to figure out when is it really appropriate to use want as a noun.

How about these quotes from Stacy:

quote:

"We should have beaten them last year," Stacy said. "That was a good game. They pretty much have the same team they had last year. They lost a couple of guys and we lost a couple of guys."

On Shepard:

quote:

"He's a pretty good playmaker. He's basically their offense, him and (quarterback) Jordan Jefferson," Stacy said. "I expect them to get him the ball a lot. But I think we have a pretty good defense to match up with those guys."

That was dumb. Does he not already think LSU will be out for blood to hush the critics ?

You lose to Northwestern (Vandy of the Big 11) and then go talking smack about a top 20 SEC team ?

What is he supposed to say?? Our team sux and might as well just stay home.

Hell if I'm McNeese' coach I would try to convince myself that LSU or Bama Or whoever was "beatable"...

Apparently, being able to state the fricking obvious is one of the benefits of a Vandy education.

Isn't he the running back???

How much film of our offense has he been watching? Hopefully alot because he'll have no idea what happened when Nevis rapes their center and kills him on the first play.

sure, you try to convice your players but you sure as hell don't tell them to go shooting off their mouths to the press.

big difference from what you are saying.

Not according to the rantards around here. UNC trotted out their scrub, walk-on team who were no better than the cake eating masses on the rant.

LSU is apparently immune to bulletin board material. There's been enough bulletin board material written and said about LSU football over the last 2+ years that, if it had any effect at all, we'd be winning every game 70-0 by now.

He's wrong. LSU losing a game is a mathmatical impossibility. He's a mathmatard for suggesting otherwise.
