I think it would be a travesty if everyone remained ignorant of the background of this eminent journalist

By now we’ve all seen the viral video of the students from Covington Catholic High School standing near the Lincoln Memorial harassing a Native American man last Friday.
The students (most of whom are white and male and wearing those easily recognizable red “Make America Great Again” hats) were in the nation’s capital to participate in the annual anti-abortion March for Life.

Each week, we bring an intersectional feminist view to the biggest stories in sports, toss the most abominable people in athletics on the proverbial Burn Pile, celebrate some of the most badass women, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people in sports, and interview some of the most influential figures in the game.

Right they have a goal and objective and will fit the story to their narrative as much as possible. 10% of it may be true and fit the narrative and be right up their alley, but they get greedy and want more fame and spotlight so they expand the story into the biggest possible thing they can. Grasping at any lead and throwing it into the story to see what sticks.
It sucks because it also undermines and discredits the actual victim and story that is true by lumping in all the trash with it

Her article is absolutely retarded if the convenient omissions (e.g. Godchaux being cleared of any wrongdoing) are inserted.
However, if anybody sat on any claims of harassments, assault, intimidation, rape, or retaliation at all- then everything she wrote becomes gospel.

They're throwing shite and if anything sticks they win in today's climate.

It’s like a requirement they all have similar job descriptions and all live in the same handful of places.

Was she the one who wrote that pack of lies that resulted in the Saints having to move their draft from the brewery?

How ironic.

Agree. The omissions are negligent at best, malicious at worst. Godchaux being cleared publicly by Hillar Moore, neglecting you mention that multiple players were actually kicked off the team, jumping around in timelines to obscure things and make them look worse. It’s a sham.
At the same time, OP is running around in the other thread calling the best-documented victim in article a liar, because LSU fans don’t do nuance very well.

For whatever it is worth, I would not frick her

I'm saying her behavior now is consistent with being "put up" to becoming involved with the current case by activist groups.
Do you think it's a coincidence another girl "broke her silence" just to cancel Zach von Rosenberg a couple of days ago when he questioned the inaccuracies in the article? That seems like a trivial incident to jar oneself out of fearful anonymity. JMO

I don’t know dude 10 minutes before closing she might look better

Does she have an agenda? Yep
Did she purposefully omit hugely important facts in order to make her story hit harder? Sure the frick did.
However LSU severely fricked up on multiple levels and it’s inexcusable and every single person who was party to those frick ups needs to be publicly humiliated and fired. There is absolutely zero excuse to not report a sexual or violent assault once it has been brought to your attention. I don’t give a frick if you don’t believe the accuser. You report it and let it play out.

Liberal media exaggerating a story to push an agenda while simple minded fans believe what they read...color me shocked.

Or LSU just fricked this whole thing up and should be held accountable.

Not liking the reporter or her politics doesn't impact whether or not these LSU students are telling the truth about what happened to them. That is all that matters. If these young ladies were assaulted and reported it to their coaches who did nothing, then LSU is at fault. If that's the case, it doesn't matter if the person writing the story is Ernest Hemingway or Hilary Clinton. The story is the story.

Sean, hypothetical here: if an avowed white nationalist co-authored a piece riddled with inconsistencies, distortions and ommissions about crimes committed by black men to prove a point, would that arouse any suspicions on your part? It would for me. I think it would be dismissed out of hand by a lot of folks.
