Link to other thread Eighteen and myself are sauces you can trust

Figured I would start a new one now that it is more confirmed

Sauces from tiger rag

quote:

According to sources, NCAA investigators have spent time in Baton Rouge this summer looking into allegations that LSU co-head coaches Julia Sell and Michael Sell had provided improper benefits to prospective student-athletes that would violate the organization’s bylaws. The accusations include setting up improper practice sessions and supplying unauthorized equipment and services to prospects during visits, among other alleged infractions.

UPDATE: Nunez gone. Chips starting to fall just like I said

I'd treat them like North Korea treats tourists. As in shadowing their every move and not letting them stray from the tennis path, not killing them.

You are on the right track. People like to dismiss this becuase "lol who cares about women's tenni." However, when the AD is potentially involved, it leads to a full investigation of your institution....

Ask ole miss about what the NCAA coming in town for women's sports can lead to...

I wonder if the compliance dept knew about it, or if they were told to turn their head. I remember the mess we had to go through when hosting recruits. I can't believe something like this could happen under the admins noses without someone saying something...

LSU compliance is as strict as they come from my understanding. I doubt they knew anything about this if they self reported the $100mil football program when Russell Shepards GF was paying half of his rent while LSU was giving him a [legal] stipend for the full amount. Starting WR out 3 games on a preseason top 5 team.

I imagine a lot less resources are dedicated to overseeing women's tennis camps, and the coaches intentionally fudged the paperwork if they are indeed guilty

IMO
