It's really not that bad. He'll be fine for this role. I know he's easy to hate and sucked at hiring/managing people, but he did fine as far as bringing in money. Got Tiger Stadium renovated. Built the tennis complex. As long as he has nothing to do with hiring a coach or doesn't have to be the one to handle transitions, scandals, etc, I'm fine.

Yeah because he started charging out the arse for parking and tailgating, increased prices all over the place, and made it a corporate environment.
He should not be involved with any gameday experience issues whatsoever.

He's under contract, so they just gave him a BS title to let him play out his contract and be gone. He's basically already gone. I wouldn't read too much into this title.

Does that mean he stays in his role until the new interim is named or until a new permanent replacement is named and if it is the latter how long should that take and do you think they already have someone and just have not announced it yet.
