They are most likely a friend of a booster. The Admin did make calls to the boosters after each counter-offer. That is why some of these poster belived the deal was done. LSU did meet the demands only to have Fisher and not Herman move the goal post again. So most of these posters are full of Shiite!!

This plays into the idea that misinformation is intentional. I believe you are reporting what you heard, but I think the admin are telling everyone outside that room of 5 something different than what is actually occurring. They have their person locked up.

Alleva is well aware of what the fans who will determine if Tiger Stadium is full want. The media-driven con game is not a factor. It's up to Herman and Fisher to say no before O has any chance.

Herman's agent trying to get leverage on LSU told BIG TEXAS BOOSTER LSU gave an offer. This caused the fiasco last night during the game. Texas Boosters are trying to force the Texas Admin to make call now. Apparently, Admirable McRaven (UT Chancellor and NAVY SEAL) is supporting Strong and basically told the boosters to FLIP off! Basically, Herman's agent really pissed off LSU because LSU was willing to meet Hermans demands. Then Herman's agent bascially did a poor Sexton imitation. Lsu really likes Herman but will not get in bidding war for him because they do not consider him equal to Saban and Meyer yet. If LSU doesnt land Herman it is Herman's agent and Texas Boosters fault. This update further leads me to believe O is clear top tier 2 candidate and Texas controls the chess board still.
Finally something that makes sense.
