why not one single football player is standing up and saying, "JJ was with me all during the fight, he was not involved" ?

Didn't the bouncers at Shady's say he was never involved?
Be that as it may.....
How do any of us know the players didn't say that?
I don't understand some of you people. You're all screaming for this kid's head and the only thing missing is the evidence proving that it's credible he did something really, really wrong.
I'm not even talking about this curfew garbage. We all know he was at the bar..... Being at a bar and having your name brought up when you are, for all intensive purposes, a celebrity in town, by a high school drop out, who has been in trouble since high school, and don't dismiss the fact that he was in another fight, just the night before this. Which has been documented.
IF it comes out that JJ turned into some unholy monster and it's proven....I'll be disappointed for sure but to want to toss this kid in prison before anything has been proven is beyond absurd. He's still someone's son, maybe someone's brother, maybe even an uncle.

BOOM!!!! Why don't his friends tell the police he didn't do it. Because if they lie to police, they go to jail for ubstruction of justice. Picture this, probably 20-30 people are in the parking lot watching the fight. No one person has gone to the police to say Jefferson did not kick someone. Not one person said he didn't do it. But more than one said he did. Wow, you are an idiot because you just won't admit he did it. And when it is proven in court he did it, you will say the guy deserved it. You are a thug just as he is if you think this is right. Why is it you can't see this? I think I know why........

just like the bouncers at varsity said RP had a gun and he didnt.
one of the bouncers said at the start of the fight, JJ was standing alone by himself. i'm sure if that was it, he had to have had another football player buddy with him to testify that he is innocent. not one single player is standing up for JJ.

Boom? To what?
But there's that video you just mentioned, remember? We don't have to picture it. The one that's got horrible quality.
If you go back to my last post..... you'll see what I would think.
So again, to go back to what I posted earlier.... he's guilty until proven innocent....
Just because someone/more than one person said he did so, doesn't make it so.
This is what you can't seem to grasp. Which is pretty sad considering you're 10 years older than me.

The four players gave names of other players, as far as we know they have not been interviewed by BRPD yet. No way LSU is going to let a player go in voluntary too much attention has been brought forth already. Case gets dropped due to lack of evidence or Grand Jury give a No True Bill (if it goes to a Grand Jury they have the opportunity to question the witnesses). Civil suit will be brought then you get depositions from the alledged victims and everything comes into play including Lowery's suspension from Catholic High for fighting and drugs, his arrest in Florida, the protection order his girlfriend has just filed. The other victims lives will be turned inside out.
My understanding is Lowery may get punished by the Marines, now the video is out that clearly shows him harrassing his ex in the bar.

Get in the real world son, the real world. This kid will be doing time and you will be one of those protesting outside of the jail saying,(set him free, set him free). So who will be the one to blame when this happens? Tell me who is responsible for JJ kicking a guy in a bar parking lot in ht e head? Who?

Go back to the last post and read the 2nd to last sentence. You're just stirring the pot now. If you don't believe me, go up to posts.

So this means that for the rest of his life, he can get kicked in the head. Bull****.
You will be carrying a sign too. (set JJ free) hahaha!

This may be a lot for you to translate so it means:
As far as we know, which confirms what I said earlier, no other players have been interviewed YET. They could've been/couldn't have been.
Nothing has been proven. Which would mean that charges would be dropped if it's not proven.
The last part refers to your "victim" and again, confirms what I told you earlier but you chose to be a jerk about it.
I never said I thought JJ was innocent on all counts. You interpreted it as I did. That's for you to figure out.

I think you are the one that needs to get with the "real world". No way JJ will every do a single day of any jail time over this...it will be a simple battery charge.
Also you are a racist POS...just because JJ, who happens to be black, but has never had a single off field incident ever and has been nothing but a good ambassador for LSU up until this point, he gets accused (not even yet charged) for one thing and he is automatically a "thug"
You are one of the fans that makes our whole fan base look embarrassing. What is the point of crucifying him before he even gets charged? He is already suspended as of now, why the need to just spew this hate for no reason?
Posted on 8/30/11 at 11:58 pm to saintsnola48
It has not been proven it is JJ just the word of the alledged victim, when the police first arrived at the bar no one mentioned anyone being kicked, nor was any particular player named. The so called victim, got up left the scene and refused medical attention at the bar. He spoke to the police office after 2:30 (one hour after the police office arrived on the scene and left to look for victims at another bar) which he was probably not finished giving his statement till at least 3:00 then went to the hospital and was home asleep by 6:00 and reportedly not seriously hurt. Lowery is not as innoncent as he is claiming to be, the truth will prevail. He may have been kicked by someone but there is absolutely no proof at this time except for his word and that of his "unbiased" witness. Bottom line, if Lowery and the driver of the pick-up would have left after the first altercation then no one would have been seriously hurt.

yeah it's doubtful anyone does actual jail time over this.. first offenses typically mean probation.

Agree. The charge will get watered down anyway.

I read this about 4 days ago, per the Advocate.
On the 18th he was in a bar with his ex, a girl named Liz I believe, and was harassing her and slapped/hit one of her girlfriends that was there with her.
She went to a judge the following day and applied for a temp. restraining order against Lowery and it was granted last week on Wednesday. Court date some day in September.
If you search here you may find it, or just go to the Advocate's website.

Is it setting in now?
Seems to me and others that you're just a racist jerk that likes to stir up crap.
