If I'm the Saints brass, I would do everything and anything necessary to get that #1 pick - probably from the Bungles. Trade however many picks it takes - hell, go Mike Ditka and trade all seven picks if you have to. Use that pick to get Jeaux. Has there ever been a more perfect replacement for Drew than Jeaux? NFL ready QB right out of college, already familiar with the Saints offense, and is loved in the state of Louisiana. I don't think the Saints offense would skip a beat once Jeaux did take over for Drew. It would be great for Jeaux also since he would get to work with Drew for a couple of years and stay in a place that he seems to love.

No team has ever traded up from 32 to 1.

As much as he means to LA he means just as much to OH

The bengals aren’t trading that pick especially with Dalton being washed up and well on his way out

Love the thought process.

Saints have a coveted backup in Bridgewater, trade bait.

Make it happen Saints...

Let it go. This would be a stupid trade for both sides.

Let him go back to Ohio and be a hero for his home state. He’s already a hero for ours.

No to mention the bengals are one of the most hard headed teams to trade with the saints have 5 picks this year.. we would need to give up the next 3 draft plus probably more for that one pick. You would ruin your franchise over one player.. you would go 3 years without one player on a rookie contract. The saints would be ruined

Teddy is a FA...

A realistic trade would look something like this:
Kamara
Rankins
1/3 this year
1-3 next year

They had that opportunity - they let him go. Just like Nebraska - who he is a fan of. Plus, good luck becoming a hero playing for the Bungles - the place where careers go to die.

Keep him in his 'new home'.
