Do they fill their arena for basketball or do they use it mostly for concerts? Where they get the money to build an arena that big? The state?

At this point, it just depends on which team shows up to play and if we do the little things to win. I'm sure Coach Wade is doing all he can to prepare them, but I don't think anyone is kidding themselves about this teams ability to close out games.

That should be motivation enough to crush them. What an insult.

LSU Athletics uses no State Funds and actually gives money back to Academics.

That much salt can't be good for a man his age.

The Tigers, however, recorded seven wins over top-50 RPI teams; the Cajuns had none. Will Wade’s team was 7-7 against 11 teams in the 68-team NCAA tournament field; Marlin’s team was 0-2 against NCAA participants.

Perhaps ULL's Coach should dig just a bit deeper and look beyond the records.

Yep, if ULL played our schedule they wouldn't even be in the NIT, or close to it. They would have finished dead last in the SEC with a 2-16, 3-15 type record.

Wrong!! LSU is one of only 7 colleges in the nation that use 0 state funds. We are 100% self funded while universities like UL depend on loads of state money! In fact who do you think paid for that indoor practice facility. That was built during Blanco's term as governor and she pushed the funding. And the Cajun Dome is owned by the City of Lafayette not UL

What a low rent coach with those ridiculous comments. Hope we beat them by 30 to put him in his rightful place.

I kind of like the fact that ULL's coach is talking a big game. At least this makes this NIT matchup somewhat interesting. Otherwise, it would be a snoozefest.

Again this isn't a road a ULaLa fan wants to go down.

You either have zero reading comprehension skills, or are deliberatly avoiding the question. Again, after how many decades did the school stop being state funded?
