This game was the perfect storm for a loss. Ida, moving practice to Houston, travel to the West coast, UCLA with a fame under their belts along with they are a better team than everyone thought. All that makes a difference.

stop making excuses. none of that shite makes you forget what a crossing route is. That's Jr High level football.
This team has a lack of giving a shite about being successful. they are soft and unmotivated. period.

If we would have seen any signs of improvement or differences from last season, sure I would say it's Fairweather fans.
But with no sign of improvement or change, it's the same Ole shite

Wrong.
LSU clearly has more talent. From the minute the Tigers took the field, you could tell which team was prepared.

Did it make a difference for Tulane? They battled Oklahoma at Oklahoma to the end with far less talent on the field.

All that is why they looked identical to 2020?
All that is why they couldn’t run the ball and called the same zone runs…remember Mizz redzone stand.
All that is why they couldn’t defend crossing routes?
All that is why the OL looked like crap?
Think back to 2015 with LM and the promises on the offensive side abs result of Wisconsin.

you could just tell that tulane team was full of dudes playing for the name on the front of their jerseys and not the back.

It’s really not fair to compare Tulane and LSU. They have much better coaching.

If LSU had lost a close game where the defense didn’t allow for wide open running lanes due to undisciplined front 7 play or give up huge passing plays through simply running late crossing routes and the offense had showed promise of running the ball, people wouldn’t be happy, but at least it showed improvements from last year.
That’s not what happened, what we saw was the EXACT same issues as last year:
Undisciplined front 7 football leading to wide open running lanes
Inability to cover or defend crossing routes
Boring, predictable, unimaginative running game where the O-line gets zero movement.
That’s why fans are pissed. LSU fans finally had it with miles never fixing the problems and fired him 2.5 years after being lied too. We don’t want to make the same mistake by allowing a stubborn coach incapable of changing 2.5 years to prove he won’t or can’t change. This time it’s on the defensive side though.

Yup, we put up a valiant fight and were well coached to keep the game under a double digit loss.
Circumstances got us this time, we're ready to run the table now.

No this defense is about trying to individually look good and not playing as a team No leaders just a bunch of "me" players.

UCLA is a better team than expected like Mississippi St was going to the playoffs last year.
