This narrative will end Saturday.

Let me put it into perspective.

Remember when we played Ole Miss? We had 573 offensive yards (292 pass, 281 rush). Bama did the same thing to them. Except they had 516 offensive yards.

Bama has played 6 other teams of that caliber of defense.

Remember when we played Miami and Miss St? Yeah, A&M is worse than them.

Bama-A&M was 45-23.

The transitive property of college football never disappoints!

Bama was up by 50 in the first half and then sat all of their players.

Nowhere did I invoke transitive property.

I'm talking about caliber of defense.

Every quarterback LSU plays has their worst game of the year against them. Did you see Fitzgerald or Fromm yesterday?

Also....the narrative that LSU has no pass rush needs to end....

Good coverage wasn’t the only reason why Miss St had a hard time getting the ball to their receivers....LSU has been getting pressure on the qb and rushing throws.....

Re watch the game and watch all the times the qb had to rush his throw...

LSU has to believe they can hang with Bama and beat them.....we can’t let the name “Bama” intimidate us....

Now that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t fight hard....but we can’t play scared either.....

Keep a level head....and play disciplined....

Exactly... I'm honestly hoping that bama actually comes in here thinking its a joke and will roll right over us. That's would mean their prep wasn't as good as it could have been.

This bama team might not be as mentally tough as some of their previous teams. They literally haven't been tested. If they honestly come in here thinking that they will just roll in here and beat us then they're in trouble. The focus is real on our side. I think they know they can pull it off this year.

What will they do when their WRs aren't wide open, or their RBs are getting 2 and 3 yards instead of 5 and 6. It's going to be the most physical game of the year but LSU has seen this type of game before, actually we've seen several. This will have an impact IMO. Tua might not react the same with big fast DL in his face and DBs covering all his WRs. He might try some things that's worked all season but doesn't in this game and we pick him off a couple of times.

Queen needs to have his best game of the year and cause a few TOs or get a couple of stops behind the LOS. The DL and OL need to honestly take full advantage of this game. This will be one of the only games where we can catch them by surprise a little bit. Of course they know it's LSU and will be a physical game but they will not know to what extent. They haven't been through a game like this. GA didn't either and look at what happened. Saban can talk all he wants but they don't have the level of leadership they once did. This is the game we need to take advantage.

Maybe, maybe not, all I know is LSU has as good a shot as anyone. Someone will solve him why not LSU. I know I like our chances with our D and Aranda in Death Valley under the lights.

Bama was winning 45 to -5 at half?

That’s impressive.

it amazes me that Saban coached 4 years in Baton Rouge and you think he is not going to have his players ready to play LSU. No one out prepares Saban when it comes to big games. He has superior talent and coaching and he rarely loses a big game. We may lose because you have a good team, but our players will be ready to play football at the highest level.

I downvoted you because Saban is a liar and a turd. That is all. The rest of your post was bearable.

It's not about Saban's prep, it's about his players mindset. He always talks about the problem with complacency with all football teams. His team may be the most primed for complacency RIGHT NOW! They win another National Championship last year and then play a schedule full of cream puffs winning by double digits with their 2nd and 3rd string in for the second half. If the players aren't laser focused like their coach and they've been going through the motions all year and beating vastly inferior teams, they will lose in Tiger Stadium no matter the talent.

Unrelated note: did you know it's possible to have a score of 6 - 1?
