This team is an absolute dumpster fire without Brady, Aranda, and Burrow cover up its stank. The program is hot trash.

This is what Coach O is... buckle up for a few more seasons before somebody wises up and finally fires him

The behavior from top to bottom is bound to fail. Orgeron isn’t reinventing the wheel, he’s not exceptional in any way and you can’t sustain excellence doing the things he does.

He didn’t prepare for this season that’s for sure. Spent all his time chasing women, writing books, and bragging about his defense. The offense has gotten worse and that’s more on the OL and running game than anything. The defense is bad but they showed signs of life this weekend. We can recruit well but we need a staff to develop players and make adjustments during the game. Right now I don’t see a staff that is on the same page and the players don’t seem to care. So as a fan I guess I’ll do the same.

The always inevitable random dude showing up saying “I told y’all so.”

No one cares

Says the guy who cared enough to comment on something he doesn’t care about.

I’m Naturally optimistic but apparently it’s not a good thing to lose 18 starters, both coordinators and your starting QB

So O isn't responsible for bringing in Brady and Burrow at all? As for Aranda, are there not other D coordinators that can be brought in? O whiffed before on coordinators and corrected that. Why is that something that can't be done again?

Don't misunderstand. I certainly want consistent effort and a championship program. It does seem like O is more content with building sporadic championship teams. But this team is a dumpster fire because of more than the missing coordinators, it is also because the coaches that were already in place missed on some recruits whose talent was highly overrated.

The culture issues with this program have been around a lot longer than Orgeron. When you sell high school kids solely on “give us 3 years, and you’ll get drafted and make millions” this is the by-product...a bunch of me-first selfish athletes that don’t care about the program we do.

Saban sells kids on competing with the best and winning championships. It shows

So before the season - coming off the greatest season in CFB history when our entire fanbase was rightfully still high off the title - you told us this?

And you’re bragging about it?? ...You sound fun.

Well several things, was 50/50 on the O hire, after last season I was like well looks like we found a diamond in the rough. Then in no particular order

1) OBJ flashing $100 bills as soon as the clock hit 0. Now, no Coach O did not have anything to do with it but it was like an omen of what was to come.

2) 1 month later O leaves his wife after all the TV clips with him saying she helped me get through not getting the USC quoting her saying "God's got a plan" , etc.

Now I consider myself to be a religious person but these coaches that mix religion with football really give me the "Craps" sometimes. Just coach your football team and live your life the way your faith calls you to live otherwise you look like a Charlatan.

3) Started running around with a woman 25 years his junior with 2 kids (2 different papas) and puts out pics in the public space with her!!!!

Not too bright there.

4) Regardless of what my politics are, or anyone elses, why the hell do you go on FOX TV and praise Trump? particularly in a heated election year and after Trump a few years ago stated he would fire all the SOBS in the NFL. Well lots of his team are friends with those guys that Trump called SOBs.

My view in the future, LSU BOS should tell every HC at LSU "you do not endorse politicians Period!"

Another braindead move and the one I think split the locker room or is where I think, if Rohan's statements are correct on Ott and Moscona's show, Coach O lost the locker room and it is going to take a ton of work in the off season to get it back.

5) Add what was alluded to last night on Moscona and Jordy's Whiskey and Wine that O is not around the building as much as he was from 2016 to 2019 and hasn't been pretty much since the spring. Hmmmm, chasing 30 something year old women is "undefeated and untied"

6) You add this Title IX independent Audit, and let's be honest, it doesn't look good with 9 accusations since 2016 which coincides with O' taking over.

I just don't see how this ends well for Coach O.

2017 - Canada: Whiff
2018 - Ensminger: Whiff
2019 - Brady (allegedly not the OC): Home run
2020 - Ensminger and Linehan: meh
2020 - Pelini: Whiff

Aranda doesn’t count, he was already here

You like that track record?

After I collected my 500 bucks on a 25-1 LSU championship ticket last year, I placed 20 bucks on LSU to win it all again at 10-1. Oops

I agree with this point

I don't agree with this point. Those kids at Alabama go there to get to the NFL, don't kid yourself

It looks worse for our title 9 department and tennis coaches.

I thought this is exactly what we would be seeing when Ed was hired.

I thought he proved me wrong last year. But it’s looking more and more like my initial reaction was correct.

He got lucky to inherit Aranda. Caught lightning in a bottle with Brady and Burrow.

Now we are back to real Ed Orgeron.

Yes but Saban can pick up the phone and call Bill and basically give NFL feedback on how the Patriots rate his players as prospects. Saban himself being in the NFL can say your projected here now, you work on this, this, and this and come back you move from this draft position to this draft position and that changes your $$$$$ by this much, etc.

They have a way better process in place on giving players the information about when to go and when not to. You would think O could pick up the phone and call the Saints and Pete in Seattle and give his team here is how those 2 NFL team rate you as a prospect. Hell Mike D is close with the Saints organization, he can get it directly from his childhood friend.

No, I don't. But if you are going to tell me that you were completely satisfied with Aranda until the aTm game and beyond last year, you are full of shite.

I’ll repeat what I’ve said before in other threads.

Orgeron looks and behaves like a guy who got lucky enough to win a championship and thinks he will get a free pass for the rest of his life because of it.

He does not seem Interested or even capable of doing what it takes to sustain success.
