Made a layup after getting through defender.

Defender fell down, Watford caught made layup and put the ball in the defenders lap.

Gets called 99% of the time.


I don’t mind the swagger but if he’s gonna talk his shite he needs to cut down on the bonehead plays.

Scored on an inside drive in which he essentially bullied and knocked the MSU defender to the ground. It was a strong, tough bucket by Watford. He then proceeds to take the ball and rather than just drop it or throw it to the ref out of bounds for the MSU inbounds, he purposely lays the ball in the MSU players lap as the MSU player was still on the ground in an effort to "show up" the MSU player he just beat. It drew an easy technical foul call. Completely fricking unnecessary and right in front of the ref. The second time in 3 games he's gotten a stupid technical foul for unsportsmanlike play.

As Dane Brashaw (analysist last night) pointed out, if you want to trash talk, fine. Do it under your breath as you and the player you just beat are running down the court. Don't do it by stupidly drawing attention to yourself. Then as the tech foul shots are being taken Watford is laughing with some of his teammates about it on the sideline. LSU was playing GREAT at that point. The didn't need to just give MSU points and motivation. And the fact that Watford didn't seem to give a shite about doing it made it worse.

What about the example it sets? He's promoting poor sportsmanship and classlessness. Of course, I guess that doesn't matter anymore.

I mean, I get sportsmanship but I like having an edge. Obviously, I want them to be smart about it. But I do not mind being the edgy team.

In short, he showed a lot of immaturity. He's not close to ready for the NBA. Don't get me wrong I like the kid, but it's just too glaring not to say it.

He has an issue in getting technicals. Hope he can trend away from that.

Need to put him at the end of the bench and leave him there.

This team is starting to look like a joke, from Watford's shenanigans to Wade not knowing how to draw up a simple PROPER inbounds play...you know where players line up and screens are set to open 1-2 players up.
