Should happen in the next few days I assume. Anyone getting any inside knowledge? I know his dad is closely involved and going thru the entire process with him to make sure Tremont gets the exposure he needs. I think Tremont announcing was more about exposure than getting drafted.

No doubt about it he will be the glue to the team this season.

I think he would be foolish to stay in the draft but nothing surprises me anymore.
Playing with the upcoming team will only elevate his stock.

Early entrants who didn't sign with an agent don't have to withdraw until June 11. So it could be a little while.

This doesn't seem like a situation that requires an announcement. Pretty sure it's a foregone conclusion that he's coming back at this point.

He's going through the entire draft process, and will use the entire amount of time available before he has to withdraw. Frankly I don't blame him. Meet with as many teams and workout as much as possible to get the best feedback he can get, to know what he needs to work on to improve and where he stands with his current draft stock. With his height disadvantage, he really needs to get a little bigger and stronger to be able to compete at the pro level. I see him playing in a Steph Curry type mold, but even Tremont is a lot smaller than Curry. Let him get the feedback he needs and come back with a chip on his shoulder. We will be a beast in the backcourt next year.

The halo effect for him on the team next year is going to be invaluable.

There will be NBA scouts at every single one of our games to see Reid (and the other guys to an extent). Thus, they'll see Tremont play all season and throwing dimes, alley oops, stealing the ball, and hitting 3's from 8 feet beyond the arc.

Wade said in an interview last week, and Billy at 247, have said May 30th is the date they have to withdraw by; so a decision should be before then.

I've also heard May 30th. I believe it was in an article in The Advocate last week.

Didn't he finish his classes is a better question imo.

I’m assuming you are asking if he finished his spring semester of classes; and the answer is that he did stay on campus and finished out the semester.

Is there room left for him on the team?

Yes! Why wouldn’t there be? He didn’t leave the team. He simply put his name in to test the process and see where he stands. If he pulls his name out (which many expect), then he is still on team all the same.

Additionally, Wade still has 2 open scholarships available, excluding Waters position should he decide to leave the team for draft.

...........and the media will let you know when he's taken his name out of the draft pool

He better have grown 4 to 6 inches, sir. He'll play all 4 in BTR.

This is not a shot at TW. He's fantastic, he's just not going anywhere any time soon.

Lot of these kids really hate school. Tremont is a few years away from ever getting a look at NBA. This kid couldn’t keep up mentally or physically the entire college season. How does he think he can play 6 months worth of much higher level ball. Would be a big slap in the face to the program if he leaves to go DLeague/overseas
