Treat this loss like the Troy game

That Florida team finished 4-7 and LSU won the game on a missed xp.

Defense in general has been pretty bad in College and the Pros. Look at Alabama giving up almost 700 yards to Ole Piss.

Apart from the fact that the defensive players and schemes are almost entirely new for LSU -- IMO this demonstrates 2 things:

1. The Defensive Coordinator is the most important coach on the team.

2. Defense is incredibly difficult to setup, discipline, and prepare for in a short period of time.

We shouldn’t need games like this every few years to reset. This is ridiculous

Well unless you are miss state or mizzou with new coaching staffs one guy hired in December the other in January.


So when you look at the context of the other teams it's actually fricking pathetic what LSU has done this season.

The Troy team that beat LSU would probably beat State and Missouri by 2 or more scores.

There is nothing that points to this team being a sleeping giant . They are a poorly coached, unenthusiastic, and appear to be divided against some of the staff. This team is a mess.

Ah, maybe. I don’t care about all the explanations and excuses on here, defense is largely about ‘want’.
