Rant,

I'm traveling in for the game on Saturday and curious how early I'd need to leave NOLA on Saturday morning. I'd like to be on campus by about 9:30.

I appreciate your wisdom, as I'm not familiar with pregame gameday traffic in BR these days.

Thanks and Geaux Tigers!

Probably 8am to get there by 9:30, but I’d get there earlier than 9:30

I’d say leave around 7:30 at the latest.

I would leave by 7am. Most of the drive won't be bad, but once you get into BR and closer to campus, there's no telling what traffic might look like.

There shouldn’t be bad interstate traffic that early on a Sat unless there’s a shooting on I-10 in Nola.

Plan for usual travel time from Nola to BR, then adjust for local Gameday traffic once you’re there.

If you get to campus at 9:30, you will be stuck in traffic and have to park in Gonzales.

I would leave at 7:30, which would put you on campus around 8:45. It will likely take you about 20 minutes to find a parking spot (levee fields) and another 20 to walk to the stadium.

Also, take the Hwy. 30 exit (Cabela's/Tanger Outlet) and take Hwy. 30 all the way to LSU.

If you’re not there by the time the sun comes up then you might as well just watch the game from home
