The tradition fund is due today in case you've procrastinated. Also this is your chance to request upgrade/relocation.

I have a question though, if I don't plan to renew ticket I assume I just do nothing and not pay? As opposed to calling the ticket office?

You could do us a solid and call and say it’s because Aleva’s handling of Wade amongst Terrible Aramark concession and general hiring failures.

I’m out. Nothing is worth those prices.

The value isn't there for me anymore. For the few games I will attend I will just suck it up and pay a premium for a game like Bama or Florida. The drive to/from Houston every game really sucked a lot of fun out of it too.

Us secondary guys rely on the people paying for season tickets. Renew them.

Only reason I renewed if because I have a regular buyer for my tix. Plus, by the time I start using them again, maybe those frickheads will be gone).

Between my brothers and I, we are giving up 13 prime seats that have been in the family nearly 50 years. I know someone will snatch those up quick but we’re not spending another nickle on LSU until King and Alleva are gone.

The game day experience is absolutely shite now. I’d much rather spend my time hunting, fishing and being with family. That’s a ton of $ i will be saving every year.

You'll get a phone call from them.

I’m struggling emotionally with my decision to give mine up- I’ve been going since I was a wee lad - basically since 1974. It feels like a responsibility to go and I feel like I’m betraying a responsibility. I know it’s ridiculous.

It's not ridiculous. I'm in the same boat. We've had the same tix since 1984, but I'm strongly thinking about finally moving on. I'm seriously bummed about LSU's athletic and even academic paths and it seems like it might be time to start switching my priorities.

IT's a crowded boat. I just pulled the trigger on mine because we've had these since before I was born (grandfather's seats). The bump in the tradition fund in the midst of all the crap that is going on pushed me to as close as I have ever come to letting them go. The secondary market guys are correct, it's far cheaper to just pick them up on an individual game basis. If the circus show that is the LSU admin does not change this year, I will likely follow their lead.

And that will REALLY suck for LSU if more people figure that out, because the cupcake games are mostly attended by season ticket holders and people who were given tickets by season ticket holders.

It's a family event for me so I still go.....its a good way to see old friends and keep in touch with one another....its what makes South louisiana revelant during the fall....im not happy with the academic or athletic side of LSU but they will be gone one day.....and I will still have my tickets...besides if you don't want to go now tickets are just way to easy to sell on stub hub and you still keep the tickets in your name...

Calling or dropping them an email is helpful for them to quickly know what seats are available for people who want to move, upgrade or get new tickets.

That's the thing. I am upgrading to my living room plus it's like winning an extra $1600 as I am no longer using my pair. No longer need to hassle with posting tickets on stub hub only to get $8 back or basically giving them away to friends on Facebook when they don't sell.

Nobody can blame you for that. I still love the gameday experience. If it ever gets where it's more of a hassle than fun, I'll do the same.

I let mine go two years ago and it was the best thing I ever did. Besides going to maybe three games a year I discovered that my refrigerator and bathrooms are just down the hallway from my recliner and the room temperature is a constant 70 degrees. And, there is no traffic jam afterwards.
