Toughest game of the year

None of the post season games were tough. Fact. So that leaves Texas, Auburn or Florida. Auburn has to get the nod right? Tied at half. Behind by 3 in the 3rd quarter.

Auburn was the only game that I was actually nervous about the win in the 4th quarter. Yes we had some close games besides them, but for some reason I always felt like we had control.

Texas had us 3rd and 17 looking unstoppable on offense (in part to our injuries), objectively they had us in the toughest spot (plus that dropped TD on 4th and goal at the start of the game for them)

I was more nervous against Texas...that game felt like it was getting away from us. We had the Auburn game in hand it was just real sloppy...even after Auburn’s last TD, I was strangely calm, probably because their offensive was such a shitshow.

I agree Auburn.
However, Alabama was an on side kick from getting the ball back with a 1:20 left on the clock behind by 5 points.

I just never felt Auburn had the offense to actually beat us. Florida had me very nervous.

Texas. We were clearly better than Auburn and I knew we'd eventually pull away. Texas, was different. We still didn't quite know what we had yet and it was on the road in a hostel environment. We were trading blows and it was tense.

I would say Florida was the game LSU was out-coached the most in...if UF doesn't go for the end zone on 3rd and 1 where Stingley INTs it, I think they tie the game. LSU more than likely wins it 42-35 or something. UF really had a great game plan and executed well while converting in the red zone. Mullen is going to be tough with UF.
Texas was next...just frustrating. And it seems like a six point lead just always sucks...3rd and 17...you just felt that the heat and tiredness of our defense could make that a tough game to finish if we don't see the first brilliant flash of Burrow's Heisman campaign.
Auburn next. I just found this game frustrating. LSU was clearly better, but three redone FGs and then a failed 4th and Goal (only time all season LSU failed to score on a red zone appearance) kept the game closer than it should have been.
Alabama next. I thought LSU was clearly better. Alabama scored TDs on three very long plays. They had two sustained drives the whole game and one took three 4th downs to make it happen. LSU could have salted the game on the opening drive of the 3rd quarter but a missed blocking assignment forced a Burrow fumble which slowed the offense down.

Auburn’s defense was stifling but I was never worried that they could score. Florida felt like heavyweights throwing punches and weren’t sure who would be standing at the end

Texas
Only game that really felt like we might lose

Oklahoma was tough.....to watch. I expected a football game. Instead, we were given a slaughter against a cupcake. Got to the point where it wasn't even competitive. Playing in the playoffs against the #4 team was less stressful than the Northwestern State game.

If Burrow doesn’t go God-mode on that famous 3rd and 17 we could have easily lost that game. The D was gasssssed.
Edit: This was me to a “t”:

Bama got close at the end. Before clyde got that first down we were all sitting there thinking “not again......not again”. Texas was hot at the end but we kept scoring. Auburn was the toughest game.

when we were down 28-21 to Florida I was nervous.
Auburn I was not nervous but more aggravated because we failed to get points in two straight redzone drives in the 3rd. CEH went beast mode and once we had the lead I was fine
Texas was the game that I had trouble sleeping after because just wow

Auburn.
We *were* down by 7 in the 3rd against FLA, so that game deserves an honorable mention.
