Miles said tonight in his show that they are looking at other line ups in the OL, just in case you missed it.

One example, it's only an example so don't freak out, but he mentioned the possible move for Hurst to LT, Vadal Alexander at RT.

That's all he really said. But he did say that the pass protection needs to be improved.

He singled out Collins, Hurst, specifically but he did mention Alexander too.

I would like to see Collins and Williford stay where they are but that was good to hear from him.

Thoughts on left tackle

1) it'd be great to have an effective one
2) how bad is Chris Davenport that he can't get on the field over Josh D? why's he practicing there if all he's ever gonna get is mop up time?
3) what are Vadal's feet like?

they've already done that this yr, I believe in the Idaho game. apparently the starter was getting vandalized... err.... had a calf issue

It's easy....hurst to LT and Vadal in at RT. as was said, he's already done it and it was a notable improvement.

Hurst was the whipping boy early on. How bad is Josh D. playing when people are clamoring for Hurst?

OL has been suspect in the games so far. More glaringly obvious against Auburn greater talent.
But with the weaker opponents living in our backfield in the first half and the sacs and rushed passes got to wonder why took so long for this to be recognized. I hope that coaches come up with an workable answer to this issue or it will definitely hurt us in the remaining games.

Has he seen any meaningful snaps and how has he looked? I've been pretty drunk for all the games and can't remember.

that's the inane answer the inane comment deserved. sometimes i wonder about the football intelligence of some of our posters. like the coaches don't see things that they, a nineteen yr old math major, sees. therefore our coaches, professionals with many years of SUCCESSFUL experience, are dumber than said nineteen yr old (with no experience). losing faulk was huge and will probably, along with the other big losses, cost us a game or two this year. a down field passing game is a must to beat florida, south carolina or bama and maybe state also.

Well that rips it! I mean if Haydel is annoyed ( )it's pretty much over. Never and I do mean NEVER let Haydel get annoyed with you. You won't like him when he is annoyed.

Is it even legit for one guy to be "totally annoyed" with another guy? I mean I've been pissed off enough while watching games in the past to scream at the tv and I've even thrown something at it (I don't recommend that one) but I don't think I've ever been "pretty annoyed".

davenport is good according to miles. he also looks awesome in big cat, which means nothing i know. It's just bullshite that he isn't getting any snaps especially since he will have to start next year.
