Top 10 ranking means more than money and tv ratings for college football

This sets LSU to jump Oregon and USC if we beat bama, which is huge for a 2 loss LSU to get in the playoff.

It literally doesn’t matter. SEC champ will be in the playoffs. Period.

If you have undefeated clemson, ohio state and tcu they are in.
In this hypothetical it would come down to one loss SEC east team, 11-2 LSU, or a one loss pac 12 champion.

a one loss USC will not pass up LSU. The committee is completely ignoring our week 1. They see us as more of a 6-1 team than 6-2 team it looks like.

The losses dont mean squat. If all non SEC teams win out the LSU is the only team on the list that can play their way in because we have to go through #1 to get there. Nobody else does.

Bro so many people are trying to figure out the reasoning.. WHO CARES. The fact that we are #10 is HUGE. People trying to say they did it for Bama’s schedule.. again… WHO CARES. If that is the case then we should take full advantage of the ranking! And I’m sure it pissed ole miss fans off which is an added plus!
