Took Kirby Smart 2 years to make the playoffs at UGA

And 6 years to win a title. They had frustrating inexcusable losses. Bone headed in game coaching decisions. But they recruited their arse off and trusted his process and now they are a top 3 team year in and out. He also took over a good team at UGA when he became head coach.

Would I like Kelly to have instant results? Sure. Are there things that frustrate the shite outta me with some things I’ve seen this season already? Sure. But let’s be honest. He took over a dumpster fire and had to bring in transfers at every position from smaller schools just to fill his roster and field a team. We have to be patient and just hope for the best. With top recruiting and the transfer portal, he can turn this around quickly in my opinion. But the fact that he was even able to field a competitive roster this year is pretty mind blowing considering what Ed O left us.

I’m disgusted with what I saw from our Tigers today, but I’m also not naive of the overhaul Kelly is trying to build with this program. Here’s to hoping he can get it done sooner rather then later
