I like TJ he played well for a freshman also has the most upside of the 3 QB's we had this year. Gonna be uphill climb for him with the competition thou.

Wish him the best. Gonna be a battle for starting job may the best QB win. I think its going to be Max in the end he seemed to process plays quicker but who knows.

Most upside!? Just because he’s big and strong!? Give me a break. Having touch and accuracy is a much more important trait than to be able to throw hard

What I seen once this guy gets his mechanics together he has more upside than Jamarcus Russell.

What has he shown that he does better than Myles Brennan?

That’s pretty much where I’m at on this. He may be the best out of the lot by the time everyone’s career is over.

I love that he wants to compete! Both Max and TJ looked great at different times.

I understand what you are saying and agree that LSU finally has legitimate qbs. Tj and Max will only be better for having had the opportunity to get the SEC starts this year. With the coaches we are bringing in they will get better and they know it. The NFL is not beyond any of their grasp. And they have the system and receivers to show off their skills best at LSU. I wish them all the best.

Wants to compete and not quit.

Good for him and refreshing if he means it.

To be fair Myles has be in a college program for several years. Also being 18 vs. 20 is a pretty big leap. I’m not saying TJ will be a successful starting SEC QB, but I sure hope he is. He seems to be a good kid who really likes LSU. I wish him nothing but success.

I somewhat agree though I think Max was clearly more game ready than TJ.

Also let’s not forget that Max won the genetic lottery as well with his dad being a NFL QB and his mom being a big time collegiate athlete. Max still has some filling out to do as well. It would not shock me if Max ends up 20-30#s heavier by the time he ends his college career.

You have a point. I mean he is large and black, so the comparison couldn’t be more spot on.

If the Offensive line comes back intact, there is no reason each will be capable of leading the team.
Finley has the tools to be successful. Its depends on his dedication to the training room and 1,000 passes in the off season.

Whoever is #3 on the depth chart will transfer.

Unfortunately I think that’s TJ

I don’t doubt that he means it, but still think he may ultimately transfer (next offseason)if he has an opportunity to be a starter somewhere else.
