Shame on you! It's easy looking from the outside to say what a young girl should have done, but you have no clue what kind of trauma the young ladies were going through. Everyone handles situations different, so to say how someone should handle a situation that you have never experienced is just being an arse. Some of these young ladies may have to get counseling for the rest of their lives because of this incident. I support the victims, not the thugs!

Why would they go to the rapiest coach?

I am not blaming the victims that said you have to go to the cops

I don't understand title ix responsibility but coaches should have called cops for them

The “investigation” is window dressing. Someone could be a sacrificial lamb and there will some findings, changes with little more said or done.

I hated the Orgeron hire and was vocal about it. But he brought a championship to LSU less than a year ago and in true rant fashion, everybody wants him fired for one down year in the middle of a pandemic with a bare cupboard.

Everything in this paragraph is irrelevant. Title IX is not our friend here. Every accusation is heavily weighted in the accuser's favor. The fact that female LSU Athletes are involved makes this a potential powder keg, that could damage the University financially for years.

It’s completely relevant. If we were 7-0 instead of 3-4, everybody on this board would be calling this investigation and allegations complete bullshite.

As tough as our compliance team is guess title ix wasn't their responsibility

What a systematic failure

If I was Woodward, I would use this as a way to get rid of Coach O. Easy out like Bama used to get rid of Mike Price.

My car was stolen at LSU. I’m not going to the police. The administration should handle this.

You people are such gullible morons.

IMO, O is gone. LSU's legal team will search for anything O did or said that at the very least could be considered a gray area so that they can fire him for cause. He sealed his own fate when that pic of him and Lauderdale in bed came out online. He made himself a buffoon.

The head football coach at LSU is the most visible person in the state. Some may say the most important person. O made himself a laughingstock as well as the school. People with jobs in the public eye rarely get away with such foolishness.

Combining the picture with the product on the field and O is just not worth his new contract. This is why I feel the school is absolutely going to try and find a reason to get rid of him. Its not fair, but life isnt fair.

Sigh

Let’s say title ix didn’t exist at all. So let’s take that completely away

Would you want coaches or administrators at LSU who helped cover up rape and assault? Or would you be ok with it because “well she could have gone to the police”?

Please call president Galligan and tell him not to spend any money on having the Husch Blackwell law firm do an independent investigation as he announced last week. Glad you can save the university this money since you know everything that happened.

If Sandusky was at LSU when he was playing with little boys, I must assume you would have defended him too. Nothing to see here, just move along.

Do you lack reading comprhension? I said people will get fired for the Davis/Guice stuff. It won't be woodward like you keep claiming though

You again have no clue what you are talking about and should just shut up

university has disciplined two of them.

How does the universtiy discipline them when they are found not guilty by the police after being suspended or if they leave school as soon as they get in trouble?

Bet you were a fan of Obama admin Title IX laws that allowed schools to kick students eventhough there wasn't any evidence.

I can't post the image from Instagram, but the "LSU football has more rapists than championships" sign made me chortle.

The cases mentioned so far are insulting to women who have actually been assaulted. You get drunk and have sex with a guy at your apartment at 2 am and don’t say anything until months/years later, I don’t believe your claim of assault. Even the Davis case (by far the worst) the girl stayed with him for a long period of time and reportedly denied any abuse when asked. You can’t have a cover up for a crime that never happened.

Piggybacking on a serious investigation just to get rid of a championship coach 10 months removed? Classless. The fact your post has 67 upvotes is even more disturbing.

If there was any sort of coverup heads should roll, but this sort of thing should never be in the hands of the schools to begin with. These matters should be referred to the police for investigation. The fact that a coach should have any part in this process is ridiculous. I

The Davis case is domestic violence plain and simple. He was kicked off team and removed from school. No rape. No cover up.

I notice you didn’t try to say any of the other allegation have any evidence of a crime and that is what I was referring to.

Come at me again smart arse.
