BDS has one of the most non-collegiate football experiences ever

Go to a game there

You feel like you’re at an arena football game or something

It’s sad that LSU didn’t have a sell out packed stadium against Auburn. Got to do something to get people there and keep them there. LSU is #1 who wouldn’t want to come watch them play.

If your scared already it would toss you over the edge. Just like Mike the Tiger was intimidation sitting right outside the locker room for so many years.

I’m not old at all and I think that shite is gay af. Btw, I doubt players would choose disco lights over winning football games

I like the LED lights for the field.

I’d be ok with the light shows for pregame hype and at halftime.

It’s lame as frick to have mini rave dance parties after every score.

That light show needs to be banned.

Obviously you haven’t been in the locker room when the entire place is purple

Intimidation?

It’s just something for the bama fans to behold before they return to their single wides.

TS will eventually replace the metal halide lights with LEDs.

That will allow them to select different color spectrums, but I would stay away from dancing light shows.

I’ve flip-flopped on this.
I wanted the LEDs but now do not.
Seeing them in Bama, they would be very distracting when you’re trying to gameplan and look at images on the sidelines during the game. It’s a strobe light effect like in a bar. Players and coaches need to concentrate and that looks like a pretty big distraction.

Also had a buddy go to the game this weekend. He said once the music and the light show cut off, it was like a super buzz-kill. From concert to silence in the blink of an eye.

No thanks.

When does LSU transform from old lights to 21 century lights and begin light shows to enhance fan experience in Tiger Stadium??
Hopefully Never, that shite Bama does looks cheesy and stupid as shite.

LSU does not need to copy Bama, What is Next a fricking LASER show between downs to make the fan experience better? what about a retractable roof?

They are probably better for the in stadium experience. But for TV production they really take away from the production value of the broadcast. It just looks like the stadium is having problems with their lighting.

Forget the light show. ROI on LEDs for commercial use are hitting around 5-8 years. It's stupid not to make the switch now regardless of light shows or fan experience.

Finally someone with some knowledge about electricity. Save on cost and enhance fan experience. I don’t hear people complaining about basketball who as the lights dim for intros.
