Joe Modicut passed away yesterday. A Letterman in 51 and 52 and a team captain in 52. More importantly, he was a good man. Little Eagles called him Uncle, even though it was several times removed by marriage. He always remembered and asked about them even though they weren't blood.

RIP Uncle Joe.

Are you speaking of Joe Modicut? Did he and his wife live in Hawaii for awhile? I don't believe they had children.

I am. Dang autocorrect. They did not have any children so loved all nieces and nephews and extended nephews like their own.

I am so sorry. He was adorable. He and my dad were friends. My parents went to visit them in Hawaii. He was ALWAYS so cheerful. My dad always talked about the time Joe went on a job interview. He walked in the room and said, "Y'all aren't hiring today, are you?" They had some good times.

My dad died in 2004. So they meet again!
