It’s bullshite. It’s an insult the dance to basically say it’s not a sport. Anyone that knows anything about competitive dance knows those girls are athletes and dance is certainly a sport. No one can just do what they do. They should let them go. They have a chance almost every year to bring home a National championship that’s how good they are.

Let me clarify it for you. It is not a NCAA sponsored sport in which LSU participates.
Compare and contrast this to Gymnastics which is a NCAA sport. LSU spends millions on Gymnastics, but this dance is like men's soccer. A club sport at best.
When the money is plentiful, I suspect they provide a little support. Right now, money is not plentiful and the covid requirements are not cheap.
The solution is simple. Raise some money specifically for this activity.

LSU has more than enough money to let them go. They won’t eve. Let them compete VIRTUALLY. It’s gonna blow up in LSU’s face. This is gonna look so sexist. The tiger girls are good enough to go dance at basketball games and football but the schools can’t get behind them to get them to the ONE competition they do every year? No. It’s bullshite.
