Thoughts on potential lineup next year?
C - Garza
1B - Beloso
2B - Dugas
SS - Doughty
3B - Willis/Bianco
LF - Cabrera
CF - Hampton
RF - DiGiacomo

Friday - Henry
Saturday - Hill
Sunday - Marceaux

Really doesn’t look that bad to me

Pitching looks absolutely lethal. Infield might be questionable but should be a regional host with a shot at a National seed in my eyes

I won’t hold my breath on 2/3 of that rotation

I just can’t be too excited about “potential” anymore. How many pitchers will actually pitch next year?

Gio will be in center, have to hope one of these freshman catchers can push Garza to DH

Hal Hughes is the shortstop. If you don’t think so you’re delusional.

I guesss we’re going all in with Doughty and Hampton the rest will regress or be injured by next spring!

Garza can be DH. I don’t want him anywhere behind the plate

Needs to be Willis or one of the freshmen coming in

Henry and Hill can’t warm up without soreness. I wouldn’t count on them as starters. I think Fontenot deserves a shot

Some of the Catcher/DH bats coming in next year seem to have some serious pop, but I have no idea if it translates.

That's flat out disgusting. How is this even possible at LSU.

Garza's bat will be a good 1 next season

but he has A LOT of work to do to be the everyday starting catcher

seriously hope someone coming in is already better

and I hate saying that... but his defense really cost LSU 2 runs tonight... that after a base running blunder cost LSU at least 1 run last night

I'm sure year 11 Paul will produce a winning lineup.

re: Thoughts on potential lineup next year?
I’ll be honest, the fact that Dugas or Bianco didn’t take a position from Hughes or Broussard this year is concerning. Hal is a great defensive short stop, but if we have to rely on him being an everyday player, we are in a hole.

Hopefully, Doughty is as good as they say he is. Another player that was pretty disappointing this year was Willis. I saw a lot of reports that said he would come in and be ready to hit day 1. Obviously, that wasn’t the case.

A big question mark for next year will be Cabrera. He did not finish the season off well. I’m curious to see what we get out of him next year.

Get rid of every one of these losers. Find kids with heart and the ability to pitch and hit. Also, find a coach with a brain.
