Man are we athletic at every single position.

Very fun game last night but our perimeter defense has got to improve in a hurry.

Naz needs to be a force on the low block. It's exciting to see him shooting 3's, playing on the perimeter, but he leaves us venerable down low when he's around the 3 point line.

Pumped about our free throw shooting and our ability to score points in bunches.

Team looks to have great chemistry.

It's going to be exciting Tuesday night with Penny Hardaway and Memphis in the building!! Let's pack the pmac Tuesday night!!!!

It was a fun game to watch. Agree with the perimeter D, but will say, those UNCG guys were on fire!
Naz will contribute down low also, but he is fun to watch from around the arc.
And damn if we didn't almost go 100% on FT.

Yes, gonna be a fun year.

Only issue I see is the perimeter D which is a easy fix. I'm sure they will work on this. The kid from Southeastern and then last night had career games where they were shooting out of their minds.

Taylor is going to be a crowd favorite when the season goes on. He reminds me of Vernal Singleton. Gets loose balls, rebounds, and jumps out of the building.

I know I am being picky but my only comment about Naz last night is that a few times he tried to do too much dribbling the ball like a point guard. And there were times he should have passed the ball to the open man under the basket instead of forcing up the shot.

But he is a great player and will do great things this year.

I hope we do not run into another hot shooter from NBA range 3pt. This guy Galloway was incredible. You would think you would not have to bring a defense out that far.

Our Rebounding and pressure/ability to create turnovers are both well above average. But you are right, they got a ton of wide open looks and it felt like they made all of them. The good news is our offense can still win the game this year even when the defense breaks down. Unc greensboro is a ncaa tourny team this year. They will only lose a handful of games with their scedule. Our guys are really young, the bulk of what is out on the floor is freshmen with a few sophmores mixed in, the defensive lapse looks like something Wade can get corrected as it is not an ability issue. Its a knowing defensive assignments issue.

this is something developing that i'm curious about. in 2 games, we really haven't posted up very much and when we did it, it was anyone but naz (williams, days, kb-w). naz has been out on the wing, which is fine because no big can guard him out there. he's too athletic. i just wonder if we'll see naz posting up later on. seems like too good of an opportunity to pass up. he will draw fouls like crazy

At one point we were 21/21 from the FT line. That’s incredible. Finished over 90% as a team. Anyone wanna look to see how long it’s been since that happened with over 25 attempts?

There 1-2-2 had big impact on game. Can’t belive we didn’t have someone in the middle.

Tried to just stretch horizontally with guards.

This doesn't make sense to me. We rebounded the ball very well last night, even on the offensive end. If he is draining 3s, he's drawing a big out of the paint, clearing the way for drives and cutters.

It’s been forever. Johnny Jones teams were horrid from the free throw line.

Jester. It should make sense to you. He was 4-6 last night from 3 point land. There will be nights against much better opponents where he may struggle from outside. All I’m saying is he’s looked nearly unstoppable in the low post. I want him taking high percentage shots come sec play.
