This Whole Pedo Supporter Agrument on Casey

Privacy issues kept it away from him and even if he did, he could not simply dismiss the guy. Uppers in the department knew, it was their job, not Casey’s. Nothing that happened can justify anyone calling Casey a Pedofile supporter, that’s just crazy.
Also, the player was 15 and the girl was 12. I don’t know exactly what he may have done with her, meaning the severity, but it’s not as if he were a grown man with a child. I also understand it may have involved an overzealous parent that blew things up and the player made a plea deal to make it go away. Anyway, I do not lend any support for the player.
This happens all the time with 18 year olds having sex with their long time girlfriend who is a couple of years younger. An ugly breakup, a pissed off parent and charges are filed. To stay out of jail, these kids make a plea deal, but must live with the rumors and allegations for life.
Bottom line is Casey did not do it, a player did and Casey was not allowed to know about it. When it all came out, the kid met every obligation placed on him by the court and the school and the administration deemed he could not be released from the team.

Think about the fact you’re having to research and defend a pedo to hire a baseball coach and ask yourself why LSU would need to stoop to that level to find a coach.

Dude, did you do any actual reading or are you illiterate? He molested and/or raped a girl twice. Once when she was FOUR years old and the other time when she was SIX. You trying to defend this guy and his coach? Absolutely disgusting.

It really doesn't matter what actually happened at this point, if Casey is hired LSU will lose in the court of public opinion. Perception is everything with this topic. We don't need this. There are other good coaches available.

Allegedly. I'm still confused on why everyone is blaming Casey for something the kid did when when he was a teenager that has now been dismissed/expunged from his record.
LSU is looking to hire the coach not the player. Nobody knew anything about it until after he was a couple years in and OSU then decided that he wasn't a threat and he could stay enrolled and play baseball. What was Casey supposed to do exactly?

Umm yeah it took about 5 seconds. He plead guilty to child molestation when he was 15 and the girl was 6. The family of the little girl also claimed it happened 2 years earlier.
