And their losses will be tough and well fought. This team will be well respected and feared by its opponents.....
Despite the lousy fan base here on the rant!!!!

Being tough and not quitting is an EXPECTATION, not some sort of example of going above and beyond. You are SUPPOSED to be tough and fight hard during games.

Everyone here wants the Tigers to win, dumbass. I don't understand why you O apologists can't understand this. The difference is us "nega-Tigers" are waiting for him to prove himself before kissing his arse.

Man, frick. We have talent like always. That will never be a problem. We need someone who gets the most out of the talent we have. Dammit. We are way better than this bullshite and everyone knows it. Let's geaux tigers.

Look, no one except for literally two posters I've seen on here want the team to fail. I have no idea why not being a fan of the coach to O fans is the equivalent of "well then you are wanting the team to fail because you don't like O." That's a ridiculous statement.
Here's the deal:
O's track record as a head coach is not great. I know you know about his Ole Miss stuff so I'll skip that but that is part of his track record as a head coach.
I know what our record was last year but one must consider that 5 teams that we beat fired their HC because those teams were so bad. This isn't bashing O, it's simply a fact.
The buttwhipping from a good but not great Moo State team last year surely didn't help how O can coach up his team. The Troy game, same thing, just worse, we have better athletes and we weren't ready. That's on the HC. Almost the same thing happened in the Syracuse game.
The bowl game, again. It completely goes against his "we coming" gif.
Now on the flip side, I will say that this team is loaded, LOADED with superstar players.
I give O credit for beating Auburn last year, that was a big win, no question. I give him credit for getting Burrow to come here.
My skepticism is is the leadership from the HC there? I mean when it gets to game day...... I just don't know.
I gave him chance after chance after chance and finally, that was it. I am not wishing for him to fail, I am not at all nor would I just because I'm not a fan of who the HC is. Currently, it seems to me like he's in over his head.
If he gets the team focused on one game at a time, do your assignments, no dumb penalties, win the games and win big games, he'll have won over so many fans including myself.
I do have to say though, his demeanor at SEC media days didn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling. He looked scared or something.
Guess we'll all see pretty soon.

We have zero talent at RB right now.

You forget about CEH? Chris Curry?
I'll give you we don't have the typical 'home run' RB but zero talent? No way.

No, I included those two.
Posted on 7/19/18 at 2:45 am to El Campo Tiger
So then you're saying they (those two players) have no talent? That they're no good?
Ok, whatever.

They have talent but 1) it's not easy for a true freshman to take the reins and be the guy, took Vincent and Fournette half the season to find their groove. (2 best freshmen seasons in our history)
2) CEH is also a smaller back that hasn't proven himself as an SEC back and that he can carry the load.
This years running backs arent lacking for talent, but experience is a big thing early in the season.
2014 we at least had 2 seniors who had carried the ball a lot to help ease the transition to Fournette early in the season. (See Wisconsin)

They are definitely unproven. We don’t know who they are.
This is the first season I can remember where we didn’t have a returning RB that put up great numbers the season prior.
It’s hard to say how good CEH or Curry will be because we have absolutely nothing to go off of.

This is pure, utter bullshite.
The so called "rest of us (you)" are waiting for him to fail so they can pound their chest as they claim that they were right. You could choose to let it play out, celebrating victories and criticizing losses missteps or outright frick ups.
Further you fail to acknowledge that O inherited a program in need of repair and rehabilitation. Although it wasn't a shipwreck and had some very good components, it had a number of deficiencies.
The OP is correct IF Ensmingers offense is worthy and has a QB who is efficient. That remains to be seen.

There won't be many with Will Wade this year!

This team reminds me of the 2003 team. Hope it turns out like them!!!!!!!!

What’s most annoying about the O bashers on this board is they just never give it a rest. They repeat the same snarky remarks over and over...looking for every opportunity to spew their vile and display a “look at me” attitude. If these mega nega-Tigers live their lives they way they conduct themselves on this board...good luck with careers and relationships with people! What a miserable bunch!

We have enough going on in our lives that we dont need to psyche ourselves up over something that is a complete unknown.
Past results have driven many to a realistic mindset.
Also, knowing many posters IRL, the way people act on the board isn't how most are IRL.
You sound like someone who hasn't really been following LSU that long.

If it’s so bad then why still read this board? Go hang on the recruiting board and pump sunshine.

I always love this when the haters disqualify an sec win, in order to meet their agenda. Using your philosophy, Alabama shouldn't even have made the playoff, since all they beat was a bunch of losers and their best regular season win was against shrimpboat captain. It truly is hilarious the double standards.
The funny thing is, us O lovers as y'all call us aren't praising O. We see what appears to be good things happening, and will see how that translates onto the field this Fall.
