Correct answer. If we had beat UT, we would be better than a #1. 3 to 7 is about right for our ranking.

Don't you get the point? The guy says we were "outmatched", when it was literally just the timing of the hits, and one hit in particular, that were the difference. It wasn't as if LSU got out hit 15 to 2. The hits were actually even.

If LSU would just play some defense, and get a timely hit or two, the script is entirely flipped.

If this was a regional or super, JJ would have coached this differently. He's still learning what the players are capable under pressure in big games.
