There is no way Tony Benford can take this team deep into the NCAA tournament.
Yeah, you can say rah rah, chip on your shoulder, good assistant coaches, etc....but you're missing that ONE motivating voice that was with you throughout the entire season calling plays.

Meh. The team played about the same in this game as the first two games against Florida. Jury is still out.

Have you actually ever played basketball? You don't think plays are called in basketball? Pick-n-roll is a play, give-go is a play, double ball screen is a play, isolation is a play. Yes, you run certain offenses that are not specific plays, but when you have players like Tremont, Naz etc. you definitely do design plays for them specifically. This fla team was the worst team in the nation for this LSU team to play. And LSU got no favors from the refs. Having lost this game may be the best thing that could have happened for this team going into the NCAA tourney. There are a lot of very young guys on this team and they all will come back strong to prove something.

I think we will beat a #14 seed in our first game. I can only hope we can make it to the Sweet 16.
UF had played us twice before today and knew exactly how to play us. Whoever we play next week will not have that advantage.

Lsu has had trouble with Florida all year. 3 incredibly tight games with them. Lsu will be fine in the tourney
