There is a certain breed of people that are competitors, and can’t stand to be away from the competition, and the money is a bonus. Nick seems to be one of these people.

The only reason I see him coming back is to kill this narrative that he cant win in the NIL era, that he only won because of superior resources, etc.

I said this a few times but. Saban is 22 months removed from coaching. He had a nice break and nice reflection.
This is probably his very last realistic shot at coaching again.
He probably has had time to think what it would take to be really good in this Era. He will give LSU every single demand that he needs to be successful.
Our money guys will bend over backwards for Saban.

I dont think so. I actually think he loved 1/9 because he got to avenge that regular season loss and dominate in an NC. Just sucks that it happened to be us.

I got this saturday night from someone I would believe but wouldn't bet my life on. The word is that Rousse will be announced tomorrow (tuesday), Schroyer will follow him but not as AD. He'll be below that level as either an assitant to the AD or assitant to the president. That won't be announced tomorrow but will come in the next week or two. Also, he spoke to a trustee and the trustee said they're going to shock the whole world with the coaching hire. That to me only says one thing. I'm not necessarily standing behind this but that's what I heard. We'll know tomorrow if the first part is true.

So they know for sure who the coaching hire is going to be but they still haven't determined the final member of the coach search committee?

Yeah, I wouldn't believe the saban stuff but I think the president and AD stuff is true. I'm curious to see if the timing lines up. I'll believe Saban when I hear him say it. Probably just a trustee running his mouth to distract or because they think they can make a good offer.
