and it seems LSU is one of the few teams still bleeding coaches and analysts. Also, given it's this late, they're that much harder to replace.

I hope it ends soon.

But yet, Baylor was able to get its head coach just a few short days ago. And LSU's program is a heck of a lot more lucrative than Baylor's for example. Also, money talks and I believe for umpteen years in a row, LSU had the highest paid ASSISTANTS in college football in the aggregate. I would agree with you if it was say Utah or Missouri, but the top tier teams just offer more money and hire someone. Oh,and BTW the fact that LSU assistant coaches are wanted elsewhere with promotions...Aranda at Baylor...Joseph offere and declined the PGC and associate head coach at Nebraska, other coaches notice that.

LSU was special, like the greatest ever season. Teams that are rebuilding or looking for direction going to want apart of that....it’s a great sign of what we were able to build, hope replacements hit the ground running , and know they will be being looked at for the picking$ in the future....that’s just the way it is, some things never change....

I agree, it’s tough when you lose all these talented coaches and players, but that’s what happens when you win. I think Orgeron is a good enough coach to overcome this. Hell, Saban has to do this every 2 years.

Losing analysts? Really. They are here just to get other jobs. That’s the point.

Stop being a pussy. LSU just went undefeated and won the national title. Next year won’t be as good (might never have a year that good). It will still be better than 90% of all college football teams.

Really? Grow a pair man. We return most of our staff. Aranda at times over his career made some boneheaded and baffling decisions. He, as is any coach on LSUs staff besides orgeron, can be replaced. Coaches tend to do well at LSU why? Because of the arse loads of talent we have. That's the real reason coaches do well here. We have an advantage over damn near every program in cfb when it comes to talent and makes it easier to look like an elite coach. That's a fact. John chavis is a perfect example. We will be fine.

Smart, Pruitt, Jimbo, Muschamp, and Kiffin are head coaches in the SEC alone that have been Saban assistants at one point. Not counting Mcelwain who was also an SEC head coach. When you're a really good head coach and run good programs, your assistants get plucked. You find the next ones.

When you ask to be a very successful program, this is one of the things that come with the territory. If no one wants to touch your assistant coaching staff then that means you suck.

Message to everyone bitching: Stop being a bunch of pussies. Be grateful for their time here, wish them luck in their future endeavors, start rooting for the next guys that come in, and root for your team to be successful.

It doesn't matter how late it is. When a head coach from LSU comes calling, everybody stops what they are doing and listens.

Almost like LSU was still playing for something major up until last Monday while every other team has been moving on to next year since December.

I heard that if we lose any more they can take away our national championship.

It's the beginning of the Orgeron coaching tree.

This isnt true and was a big g reason Alleva needed to go.

Yes at one point Chavis was the highest paid DC and Cam was up there. But we were still spending way less on the entire staff compared to Bama and Ohio State. They were making the title games and playoffs while LSU floundered.

Yeah but that’s the problem, right. It’s like it doesn’t matter who Saban hires as assistants because he’s the head coach and he will be successful no matter what.

Orgeron has not proven the same. He admits he’s a CEO type who must hire incredible assistants. He can’t miss on these hires.

Have you seen the size difference in the stadiums? Not everyone is a huge basketball fan.

Not to mention, most of us are capable of following multiple teams at the same time.
