Throw in the 2021 mixing pot a bevy of starters back with years of high-end recruiting lining the depth chart, this LSU squad might be the most talented team in the nation

LSU Football: Tigers' 2021 Schedule Analysis

Week 10 – Nov. 6 at Alabama (Tuscaloosa, Ala.)
After a tight 46-41 win in Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2019, Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban got a big slice of revenge in Tiger Stadium last season, walking out with a 55-17 dismantling of LSU. Saban would love nothing more than to start marching towards another eight-game winning streak against their rivals, but LSU is loaded. Bama will have a stout defense in 2021 but there are question marks surrounding the offense. Per usual, the winner of this one should be on their way to representing the SEC West in Atlanta.

What a stupid statement. The same could be said for every team in the West since Bama usually makes it to Atlanta.

No it couldnt.

Miss St, Ole Miss, Arky are in no position to make a run at a West title.

But they can sure as hell frick up another team's chances. And that's the difference between Bama and LSU's coaching staffs....Bama will stay focused and not let teams beat them that are not supposed to. LSU will be LSU and drop one they aren't supposed to. Facts.

Listen, LSU is always loaded, they're the only team I say that can compete with Alabama every year talent-wise. The talent has always been there, but the difference as usual has been in the "coaching" area. Last season was a disaster especially on defense, the coaching was horrible and now hopefully that's been fixed. But even when Miles was HC, the talent has always been there to compete against Alabama, and Saban knows that, but his smug arse knows LSU's coaching has always held them down.

Like in 2019? I mean really! Do you even think before you post that foolishness?

Not trying to be nega here, but you picked the one year LSU didn't frick up an lose to a less talented team, while ignoring pretty much every other year in which LSU has.

1. The head coach ran the table to the best season in NCAA history 15 months ago.

2. The 'staff' is wholesale changed.

3. What is your point? Other than trying to find some contrarian view point?

We could start a team with as many as 11 players in their 5th or 6th year of college.

And 5 more 4th year players.

LSU-Alabama isn’t the only game in the west where the winner goes to Atlanta. The road to Atlanta goes through Tuscaloosa, not LSU-Bama. Auburn can make it to Atlanta, and a lot of y’all aren’t going to like hearing this, but A&M could go to Atlanta soon as well.

YOU just made my point. The staff isn't the same as 2019. Bama was "down" that year also. And aTm wasn't near as good as they will be this year. Yes we have the studs. But can our coaches beat Bama's coaches. Will remain to be seen. I say we frick up at least one game while Bama runs the table.
