This kickoff game issue is an ever better reason to stay away from them.

If ESPN is at the decision of this whole deal, then we should really consider never playing these kickoff games anymore, and strictly do Home and Home series with bigger teams to open up seasons. If something were to happen like this if would be up to the school officials mostly to make a decision and not freaking ESPN.
My rant over for today, y'all be safe out there and GEAUX Tigers! It's Game Week baws

Kickoff games have nothing to do with Stankey or the SEC numnuts

You've got to be joking right?

Are you saying that neutral sites are the cause of historically devastating hurricanes?

What is so attractive about these kickoff games that we cede home game and control over issues like location? Do we make that much more money from the TV?

No, wouldn't you rather see LSU play bigger games in TS rather then get fricked out of a home game or trip to someone else's stadium just about every season?

Not at all but people constantly bitch here about LSU playing in these kickoff games, and this gives a great excuse to not play in them

I'm not sure what you guys don't get about the fact that LSU makes more money on two neutral site games than they do on a home and home....math is hard I guess.

When is the last time we haven't been on ESPN SEC or CBS?
I will hang up and listen

There was literally an article showing the benefits like a week ago.

Let's not get an overly inflated sense of importance here....no one gives a shite what this board things
I like a home and home as much as the next guy....I like to travel and damn well have the money to do it....but the financial aspect of them don't work nearly as well for LSU as neutral site games.

So should we have not played in Dallas or Lambeau because of concern for unprecedented weather events?

Being in control worked real well for LSU last year with Florida didn't it.
