I think McDonald is a fantastic coach and would do very well at LSU.

I cannot defend this decision.


The only justification I can see is that they know the kid would be available for some innings today because it would be his normal BP day or something and wanted to control the situation in which he entered the game. Even still, that's irresponsible.

ETA: I know I'm not spelling his last name correctly, but I don't feel like changing it.

Pat Casey abused Abel in Omaha last year and he ended up hurt this year with long rehab.

Reminds me of what Skip did to Ainsworth in the 99 regional and Super.

ETA: And thankfully it rained Sunday afternoon and game 7 was pushed to Monday. I hate to think what would have happened had we played ECU again right after the come back.

Back in the 1910’s and 20’s...... mlb pitchers pitched frequently on 2 or 3 days rest. Sometimes on 1 day. People need to toughen up.

They weren't throwing like this in the 10's and 20's.
