Jays post game interview when the announcer mentioned hood the rope … don’t crucify me but did Johnson seemed annoyed? He then said given. It’s a regional he considered the last two night his best wins

Maybe I read more into that- regardless what a great night to be a tiger!!
Can’t wait for Tomorrow!!

I know I would be. This is his team, and that was Skips mantra. I’m sure he wants to have his own brand of LSU baseball

I truly thought we were done going into the ninth tonight. Last night I felt we were coming back. I didn’t know we were going to win it last night but I knew we were going to score a bunch of runs. Tonight I thought we were done

We’re playing with fire and it seems like we have no chance to keep on at this rate but I’m loving every damn minute of it. Lets keep it rolling.

Announcers talked about hold the rope every 5 minutes. Johnson wants to be himself not stay in Skip’s shadow

It will always be Skips teams....the fricking field is named after him while he is still alive.

Coach Johnson is probably getting tired of hearing Coach Birdman‘s name with the whole the rope stuff. Coach Johnson is handling these statements with class even though he is trying to build his own legacy.

Vintage LSU magic. We saw it at Oregon last year. This TEAM has no quit. Can’t ask for more

Uhhhhhhhhh...NO. He is happy to be here at a program built by Skip Bertman. He certainly knows that Skip will be gone one day and he can do his own thing, but keep in mind that the reason for his current success is Coach Bertman.

It was obvious the extent of the play-by-play guy's research on LSU baseball was Hold the Rope, and he knew nothing about the team itself. Lazy work on his part. I can't blame Jay for being annoyed.
