It was a ballsy move, but they are going to pay out the arse for another candidate now.

One that is not as good. Who they gonna get? Why would they take less than was offered to Aranda?

Jimbo was 67-22 without Jameis. Sumlin was 31-20 without Johnny.

If that insinuation is correct, if Jimbo is indicated in any wrong doing, he will be punished. It will follow him. It was def a quick and abrupt move when he left FSU, so, there could be some validity to that hypothesis, but, 75 mil guaranteed. That's a lot of money for a head coach.

Genius and A&M have no place in the same Topic Line. Lol.

A&M overpaid Jimbo with a guaranteed contract for 10 years at 7.5 million per season.

Then the "geniuses" at A&M tried to get
Dave Aranda and failed.

LSU decided to go against the normal method of paying too much for a head coach and instead focused on Coordinators and Staff. A&M appears to be trying to do both. They are failing.

A&M has a head coach who can't lure a top assistant/coordinator from a rival even when A&M is throwing around money like a Golddigger/Trophy Wife.

Here is LSU who derailed Jimbo and A&M by spending an extra 700k a season on Aranda (he is worth it) and leaving egg on A&M's and Jimbo's faces.

So who is the genius here? A&M is a bunch of frustrated idiots. They can spend all the money they want but they are still A&M. Lipstick meet pig. Lol.

If it is true and the offer is 3 million per year if LSU matches he makes as much as O which looks terrible. So LSU is either forced to give O a raise- not going to happen or live with this terrible perception that others will use against us negatively in recruiting.

Texas AssToMouth is gonna have a difficult time explaining to recruits and their parents why a top DC turned them down after offering him the biggest deal in NCAA history. Shite show it is.

How do You. Figure that it looks bad and how. Would it be used in recruiting? To me it says you will be playing for the best DC in the country

why do so many louisianians suck off tejas so much. everything they do is better. you suffer from a complex son and it's an one of superiority.

the word genius and a&m just do not go together.

one of the problems is that LSU fans are constantly bombarded with negatively on this fan site and the BR media. it's a constant melt and outsiders troll the hell out of us. meanwhile all they do over here in tejas is brag about how great they are. I guess after years of the two incorrect narritives people get brain washed. sounds like what Washington does and people eat it up.

They left for the NFL. It’s different from the NCAA.

Good point.

It is time to rally around the team, regardless if pro or anti O, Aleva or Alexander. Yea, LSU has its flaws, but we should be more fan like and less drama queens.
