That wouldn't have been a very good fit. Aranda has a different style of coaching than Saban, and I doubt he thinks he needs to run Sabans defense to be successful. His defense works just as well as Sabans and is better is a lot of ways. He's not going to go somewhere and run something other than what he wants to run.
