Reminds me of the OT game vs Bama with Anthony Jennings when he had a 4th down and had an open field to pick up the first down and get a new set of downs to play with but instead tried to heave it into the end zone into double or triple coverage.

Was there. It sucked. The entire south end zone screamed “RUN” but he …didn’t.

I remember that game. Now our quarterbacks are going to be drilled on what to do and not. It’s a new day!

As much as you may want to ignore this and pretend we're in candy land, you have to be an IDIOT if you don't think the backup QB at ANY college isn't secretly (in his mind, not with pom poms on for the team their playing) rooting for the starter to play poorly so he can get in.

They're also pulling for a MINOR, not MAJOR (and some may be pulling for that also) injury to the starter so they can get their shot. In related news, water is wet.

A possible exception could be a Walker Howard type who has PLENTY of time to play, and the 2 guys in front are a few years ahead of him.

I'm commenting on the questions used by the reporter. Not the answers given.

Do you not want him to ask the quarterbacks who the starter is?

Is it not a relevant question? Seems like you should be mad at the media if they didn't ask that.

This is definitely true and it's not necessarily a bad thing, it's human nature

Alright nicotinefree, another poster who thinks rationally. We do seem to be in the minority on this board however.

BS. Every player wants to play and play now. That is why 90% of the transfers are due to playing time.

It’s a 100% certainty that both LSU quarterbacks are going to play, either due to an injury or trying to overcome a deficit or stagnant offense.
