LSU Admins and WW are at the point where they are talking shite to each other publicly. He will either be fired for insubordination/cheating or he will be cleared and find another job.

Either this is a broken marriage

I called this in a thread yesterday and was downvoted into oblivion. It's either Will or the current administration.

I’m a very optimistic person and this situation has no good ending in my eyes.

And somehow Joe Alleva will still he employed. He hired a coach that the relationship with deteriorated in less than 2 years. How is he not being held accountable?

Well, it's pretty obvious Wade will be gone. The only hope we can still hold out is that this takes the administration out as well.

it’s about stupid as hell for LSU to fire WW right now, LSU will lose 9 million dollars

Up until today I thought it could be salvaged. After everything that’s come out this AM there is no way.

Very depressed right now. We had something special going.

Will Wade stays. Alleva and F King get thrown out on their asses.

Everyone rejoices.

he will never coach another game at LSU

and honestly, guys, he deserves some fricking blame. Yea, yea, but muh admins.

I agree with that too. But at the end of the day, he bought players and he talked about it over the phone, like a fricking rookie. I don't care about buying players, at all. None. Zilch. But akin to Freeze calling escort services from an Ole Miss phone line, Will Wade discussed a deal, in fair detail, on the phone. Just fricking dumb of him.

They're inching over closer to firing him with cause. That's what this is about.

It's all over except the paperwork..... Lawyers to clean up small details and the messy parts.

I'd think there is some clause in his contract that could nullify the buyout.

At the end of this all, and Wade somehow gets cleared to coach again....will he even want to stay here once other schools come knocking? I can only imagine Wade is getting frustrated with the top brass here.

Basketball team goes on to win National championship, Wade takes out the entire fricking administration and rides off into the sunset, savior to LSU athletics.

I’m coming around to this but the administration has misplayed this horribly at every possible step. I’m tired of all of them and our compliance department believing that being good at their jobs means tattling on everything and not protecting LSU from sanctions.

frick no. He'll go to a blue blood that will guarantee no future investigations. All these media hacks dogging him right now will be praising him when he's coaching at a "basketball school."

Captain Obvious.

Original take. No one has thought of this in the past several days. Glad you brought it up.
