shouldn't even be a question.
everyone knows in a lot of these poorly handled situations (Miles firing, Wade suspension, etc) FKing has pushed Alleva to make these moves.
Mr King should do the honorable thing and fall on the sword with his buddy Joe.

Yes.
But O's leash just got a lot shorter. I think Orgeron could have survived by producing 8-4 and 9-3 seasons with Alleva and King running the show. Fans would have been disgruntled, but I don't think anything would have been done.
With a new AD, President, and overall culture in the athletics department, I think Orgeron needs to establish 10-2 as the baseline if he wants to stick around.

That he was pandering for votes. Him removing FKing (if he does) shouldn’t have any effect on voting Honor Code out in the Fall.
