Unreal, great coach, great players as noted year 5 and year 1 on campus! Not sure we have ever had a sport succeed this much this fast. FWIW there are 55 D1 teams in Beach, 53 in Gym, 300+ softball, 120 football, etc. this is like a top 5 football..wow

With a roster like that, it’s a damn shame they didn’t win it all. The lackluster performance on offense has me thinking they need a new OC, I’d like to see them open up the offense a little more. They also should fire their head coach, whoever she is

Well the team did have USC beat and let'em off the hook.
If we could get a beach volleyball coach who is from Louisiana and talked more like us, then I'd be sold. Until then, didn't finish first?

This sport is exploding right now-growing like crazy. NCAA is currently adding 10-20 teams per year. For once LSU was on the leading edge of something and captured a niche. They’ve established themselves as the place to go, at least for now. The coach is fantastic and the facilities are top notch. We truly have a top 3 program all around. You guys should be proud of our school on this one-I am.

At this point, I am not sure I want to become any kind of regular follower of this sport...but it was a damn fine year for that program and congrats to the team and coaching staff. Excellent year!
