Consistency out the window.

Last time I heard such a reference was with Les Miles (frick Les Miles).

We then hired Ed Orgeron and won a championship.

Hopefully, this guy is more sustaining, but this is the type of season some win-now coaches have before going the distance.

Jay is going to be ok. He was the right person for this job in 2022.

All that not to mention the injury shock these boys were in this weekend. Yall "save your fears for another day".

If this dude wouldn’t have brought Berry/Cooper/Ryselman with him we loose another 5-8 games.....

He’s done a damn fine job considering.....

This team is not worthy of Omaha. Very disappointing season

There in lies your problem. You really believed this team was Omaha bound?

^^^ x 1000. He has done a really good job considering the lack of starting pitching and he has pieced together a really good pitching staff with the way he uses the bullpen.

I was critical of Jay Johnson early in the season as I felt while he had a team with holes he also did a poor job of managing that team.

It took him a couple weeks into SEC play to figure the team out and he has done a lot better job of doing the management part but the team still has massive holes that he will need to fix with recruiting.

With that said just like the rest of the team he also had a terrible weekend of managing.
