I like Kling. But I also kmow he's struggling at the plate.

He can't hit below .200 and he should still be the starting CF.

I don't think people realize how much ground he covers in CF.

At some point it doesn't matter anymore. He won't save as many runs as his bat will cost you (he's not at that point yet but heading that way)

CJJ was saying all last season that Kling was one of those players that LSU HAD to sign. And he was hitting decently till he got hurt last year. Point being, the talent is there, just needs to start coming out now that SEC play has started.

That's a really dumb thing to say.

If he's batting 8th or 9th, yes he will.

It's not. It doesn't matter how much more ground you cover, you can't hit 200 and be a starting CF in the SEC on a good team

No, he won't. He's not driving in runs and also not getting on for the good hitters to knock him in (OBP% will drop significantly in sec play)

You sure about that?

Peep what Andrew Stevenson was hitting in 2013.

There's game logs, you can go back and see which games he started

He was not an everyday starter

ETA: and baseball is played much differently than 11 years ago

I haven’t seen Noot throw on a mound yet (not saying he hasn’t) but I’ve seen Shores there since late January.

You clearly didn't watch the team in 2013.

LOL, yeah offense was more at a premium then than it is now.

Dude the game logs are freely available. Seems like our starting CF who was an everyday starter by SEC play would play in more than 1 game and get more than 1 AB against #10 SC, right?
