Pretty excited about these two but they’ll both still be freshmen. They can’t carry an offense on their own.

Wonderful. Cant wait for more idiotic smash mouth football. Cant wait for Alabama to smashed through and beat LSU for the 8th time.
Leonard Fournette couldnt run on Bama.
Darrius Guice couldnt run on Bama.
But damnit, this true freshman sure will.

Who said that? No one. You're responding to something that was never said.

I hope this team has higher expectations and aspirations than 10 wins and a NY6 Bowl. How about whatever it takes to win the West, win the conference championship, rated in the top 4 and playing in the dance?

If LSU wasn't getting them he would be crying. But, since they are getting them why shouldn't he be crying?
LSU internet message board fan motto: If you aint cryin, you aint tryin.

Ok, maybe I was too hard on you. Having great backs is never bad and should never be minimized. I agree that schematic limitations and poor execution cost us two games this year and ensure that Alabama is a perma-loss.

Yep, getting the talent is great, but as we've seen in the past, it does matter how that talent is used if we want to be in the CFP next season and beyond.

I think he was referring to your apparent euphoric mood from the great news.
Taken from your post they were responding to:
"Cant wait for more idiotic smash mouth football"
"Leonard Fournette couldnt run on Bama."
"Darrius Guice couldnt run on Bama."
"But damnit, this true freshman sure will."
No time like the present to go into full melt mode. Good job !!!

Lanard Fournette and Clyde will alternate between starter and change of pace back.
They will lose carries against weaker teams to the young guys who will inevitably show promise, A clear 3 will likely emerge and get a series or two of really tough sledding in early November.
We are years away from RBU

Negative. Emery will be starting.

What an incredible frickstick on #4. Damn.

I think Chris Curry will surprise a lot of people next year. He will develop nicely under Coach Robinson.

fwiw, brossette did a great job this year, especially considering our oline.

Not taking anything away from Brossette this year. But there's a big difference between a serviceable back and an elite back.

How'd your boss and his "best OC in the country" do against Alabama the past 3 years Hoss? The only moderate success we've had were with the OC the Ogre meddled with then ran off. Looking at his history at Ole Miss, he seems comfortable with his offensive rank in triple digits. He couldn't get it done with a top 15 NFL pick at RB, we should believe this kid is that much better? Again, we will bludgeon lesser talented teams and shite the bed against Saban. The very thing we paid Les a ton of money to quit doing.

You should continue to dwell on this. It is very important. I would say it matters a whole lot more than what he is currently doing at LSU.

What kid? Are you allowing your hatred of LSU or the coach to cause you to bash LSU recruits?

Like you know what is going to happen. LSU has very good to GREAT Oline players coming in with what should be the RB class in the nation. BUT, keep crying and being miserable. I mean did you see what happened at Ole Miss over a decade ago? That's something to give you a good long cry. Enjoy !!!

I'm still clinging to the very small ray of hope that he may step down after the bowl game.
