The Perfect Season. Late October Bye Week

It's all been incredible how the schedule and player health and development have trended the Tigers to be perfectly ready to spend two dedicated weeks preparing for the Gumps.
We escaped Auburn with a win, a lot of lessons, a very physical test, (hopefully) no big injuries (hopeful on both Delpit and Stingley), and no ejections to impact the Bama game.
The defense is still a bit less than the level we all expected in the summer, but it has become much more cohesive and stout.
The perfect season and the perfect schedule are lining up nicely.
Burrow is 1:1 odds to win the Heisman,and even though Hermensa's Horns have degraded, we still can get official credit for 3 Top-10 wins, with a chance to make Bama #4.
I believe in the Perfect Season.
It all sets up gorgeously.
It's why I bought a nosebleed ticket to Bryant-Denny on 11/9 last Spring.

agreed, frick the bye week and frick being ranked #1.
I want Bama to underestimate us. I hate that we jumped them the week before the game.

frick that I want them to beat Bama at their best. This mentality of our fan base acting like Bama is unbeatable and we need a handicap is pathetic.

I see what you're saying...but I really don't think they were gonna underestimate us if we were 8-0 and ranked #2. Don't think this changes a whole lot
