Why was he fired?
For two years he left us with only Jennings and Harris as options at QB. Then in year 3 we ran off Jennings and luckily had Etling.

But to start the season he still chose Harris over Etling. He had a blindspots for QB's that could block out the sun.

The passing offense contributes to us losing

But if LF7 is healthy and we win those 2 games close, do you still think Miles is fires?

We threw for 2900 yards this year, the passing game has improved.

And yet we're still saddled with 3 losses Rog.

Miles was ultimately fired because of the wins and losses. Orgeron's fate will be determined the same way.

When we had Guice and Williams, LF7 being "unhealthy" is no excuse

BTW: He gained a majority of the yardage in the Wisconsin game.

Tom Herman has 5 years left on his contract I stand corrected on Herman - only 3 years left - he will look weak to some recruit's families

Lol. Yeah, he’s looking real weak.

Not why Miles was fired.

If you want to say lost 5 of 9 while not making any changes, that's more accurate.

Maybe. But I doubt it. Losing 5 of 9 with no offense was the problem

So you're outright admitting that LOSSES is what got miles fired.

People that think miles was fired for any reason other than wins and losses are crazy.

If there was no change to offense production but we win both wisky and auburn games,Miles wouldn't have been fired.
It seems like you're trying to explain how 3.5 losses a year wasnt what got miles fired so you dont have to hold O to that same standard

That’s the thing about system QBs

They’re interchangeable.

System QB? Jones was a dyed-in-the-wool pro-style QB (left over from Tressel's recruiting classes). Herman ran the read/option with Barrett, and nothing else.

There could not be 2 more completely different QBs than JT and Cardale.

But that’s my point, it wasn’t just passing. It was losing, and losing because of Les’ coaching decisions

So if we start throwing the ball more but still lose 5 of 9 miles isnt fired?

Youre clearly trying to not hold o to the standard that got Miles fired.

Miles promised changes, then LSU starts the season with a wh0le 260 yards vs Wisconsin and Harris throws two picks.

If Orgeron goes 4 for 9, I'll want him fired too.

Particularly if we can't consistently find decent QB's

but it was the results that caused the firing. The games were close. He lost by a combined 4 points. But we were supposed to be competing for a championship and he blew it.

The HC has the final say on scholly offers. How much PT you get depends on how you fit that HCs schemes. Your HC is your ultimate mentor and defender. If a HC moves on, his recruits are at risk of not being a fit in the next guys schemes. Also, promises get made to players and their families. If that HC moves on, the next HC is under no real obligation to honor the last guys committments. That's why extensions are important. If a HC has less than 4 or 5 years on his contract, it looks to recruits and families that the coach has one foot out the door.

Wrong. And I’ve already proven the fallacy of this thought so I’m not going to do it again here.

Why haven't they extended Herman's contract? Is there more to the Zach Smith soap opera than has hit the news?

Wrong

But you're a hypocrite if you see Hermans 10-4 differently

Ok rodger. Miles was fired for 3.5 losses and having a shite offense.
Yet youre ok with extending a coach with 3.5 losses and an even worse offense.
